Anna Dziesinski, 90, of Alpena passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Tendercare - Greenview.

Anna Chalupniczak was born May 16, 1919 in Posen to the late Peter and Mary (Rygwelski) Chalupniczak and married Alexander Dziesinski on August 21, 1937 at St. Casimer Catholic Church. He preceded her on November 30, 1979.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Rosary Group #4, St. Mary's Pedro Club, A.A.R.P. and a former Alpena General Hospital Auxiliary volunteer. She managed the family farming and water well businesses for many years. Anna was an artist, enjoyed card club, Bingo and casinos.
Surviving are ten children: Donald (Connie), Lawrence (Janet), Marianne (Don) Schilstra, Diane (Richard) Spicer, Elieen (Rick) Frantz, Stanley (Carol), Theodore (Karen), Barbara (Rich Skowronski), Kenneth (Tricia), Randy; 20 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren; and twin sister Stella Chushman.
Mrs. Dziesinski was preceded in death by son Steven in 1978, six brothers and sisters: Emily Smolinski, Stanley, Anthony, Stephen, Edwin, Frances Nowak; and half sister Elizabeth Wcisel.
Mrs. Dziesinski is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Tuesday from 2 - 8 p.m. with the Rosary at 3 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. with Reverend Rolando Silva officiating.
