David Charles DeCaire, 31, of Alpena passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Alpena Regional Medical Center.

David was born January 24, 1978 in Alpena to Patrick and Doretta (Cantile) DeCaire. He attended Alpena Community College and Portland State University. He loved his family, friends, the Detroit Lions, books, music and looked at life with his unique sense of humor. He'll be missed by all who loved him.

Surviving are his parents, Doretta Jo and Pat DeCaire; grandmother Naoma Cantile; brother: Richard (Julie) DeCaire of Auburn; sister: Patty (Mike) Durr of Oak Creek, WI; beloved nieces and nephews: Riley and Ryker DeCaire, Isaac and Kelsey Durr.

A memorial graveside service will take place 11 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Holy Cross Cemetery with Rev. Rolando Sylva officiating. Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
