Phyllis J. Dasky, 81, of 21071 N. Shore Dr., Hillman passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009 at home.

Born on October 22, 1927 in Flint to the late Stanley and Anna (Cadiuex) McLaughlin and married Ambrose A. Dasky on May 16, 1952. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1997. She graduated from G.M.I. in accounting. Retired from Michigan Bell followed by several years of dedicated service at Flint Power Catholic High School as Director of Food Services. Phyllis was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

She is survived by five children: Joan Dasky of Davison, Jan and husband Irvin Epstein of Indiana, James Dasky of Fenton, John and wife Susan Dasky of Fenton, Jennifer and husband Billy VanSoelen of North Carolina; nine grandchildren.

Mrs. Dasky was preceded in death by one brother Billy McLaughlin.

Mrs. Dasky is at the Bannan Funeral Home of HILLMAN where friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday 2-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman from 10 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. Wayne Dziekan officiating.
