Angeline E. Couture, 80, of 2735 W. Nicholson Hill Road, Ossineke, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 1, 2009.

Angeline was born in Alpena on June 30, 1929 to August and Mary (Marzean) Kraft. On June 21, 1947 she married Laurence H. Couture in Alpena, and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2001. Mrs. Couture retired in 1989 after 15 years of service as an Alpena Public Schools bus driver.

She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, the Altar Society, V.F.W. Spruce Auxiliary, and K of C Spruce Auxiliary.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Suzanne Robinette of Ossineke, Deborah (Mrs. Steve) Adams of Hubbard Lake; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Robinette, Scott (Hilary) Robinette, Amanda (Alan) Adrian, Chad (Shari) Leaym, Keith (Megan) Leaym, Christina (Bill) Schroeder, Patricia (Jason) Prittie, Kelly (Gerald) Dziesinski, Ronelle Couture, RayAnn (Eddy) Smith; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, William (Jane) Kraft, and Clarence, (Carol) Kraft.

Preceding Angeline in death were her son, Raymond L. on June 12, 2000; one great-granddaughter; son-in-law, Richard; 3 brothers, Louis, August, David; and 4 sisters, Veronica Johnson, Marian Brass, Grace Hewitt, and Irene Gohl.

Mrs. Couture is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Friday from 2-8 p.m. with a V.F.W. Auxiliary service at 7:00 p.m. followed by a parish prayer service at 7:15 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday at St. Catherine Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Bissot officiating.
