June Bethel Breen, 85, of Novi formerly of Spratt, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at her home in Novi.

June Bethel Mc Girr was born in Lachine on June 23, 1924 to the late Albert and Phoebe (King) Mc Girr. Mrs. Breen worked as a nurse as the head of emergency at Outer Drive Hospital then as head of recovery at Oakwood Hospital most of her life.

She is survived by daughter Barbara Collins; son Gary and his wife Deborah Collins; 2 grandchildren Ryan and Scott Collins; brother Orville and his wife Edith Mc Girr; sister Viola Cobb.

Mrs. Breen was preceded in death by William Breen.

Mrs. Breen is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4 p.m. with Rev. John Manning officiating.

Interment: Spratt Cemetery
