Geraldine E. Beaubien, 79, of 114 N. Garden Street, Alpena, passed away at home on Thursday, August 6, 2009.

Geraldine was born July 16, 1930 in Alpena to the late James and Martha (Johnson) Standen and married George A. Beaubien on August 14, 1954.

Surviving are her husband George; 2 daughters, Mary (Ken) Burnham of Lake Orion, Susan Beaubien of Alpena; 5 sons, James (Leilan), Gerald (Joy), John (Melinde), Arnold (Tina) all of Alpena, Robert of Sault Ste. Marie; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 4 sisters, Flora McGinty, Elsie Montie, Ilene Standen of Alpena, and Florence (Joe) Wikaryasz of Detroit.

Mrs. Beaubien was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter, Audre; 4 sisters, Eleanor Copland, Jeanette Standen, Joann Standen, and Leona Sylvester.

Mrs. Beaubien is at the Bannan Funeral Home where friends may call on Friday and Saturday from 2-8 and where the funeral service will take place on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Kerry Clark officiating.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
